Sam is a dedicated General Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs. He graduated from Monash University and worked extensively across the Monash Health network before entering general practice. Sam is passionate about preventative healthcare and supporting patients with the long-term management of chronic disease, with a strong focus on practical,
evidence-based care. He also has special interests in skin health and travel medicine, helping patients stay healthy both at home and abroad.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys travelling, cooking, and discovering new restaurants and cuisines.

Dr See’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Pensioners, Health Care Card holders, children and full time students under 21 will be charged a substantially discounted fee, with their out of pocket gap reduced by 50% for standard consultations.
Patients who hold a DVA card are billed according to DVA Guidelines (see https://www.dva.gov.au/access-benefits/veteran-card). Visits by Gold card holders are almost always billed to DVA, while visits by White card holders can only be billed to DVA for eligible conditions.

Missed Appointment fee: Dr See may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least one hours’ notice.

Ear Micro Suction:
This appointment type must be booked by our reception team to ensure the appropriate equipment is available. The patient must be assessed by Dr See (or any other GP who consults from Blackburn Clinic) to ensure suitability of ear anatomy and to ensure appropriate ear drop preparation. It will take approximately 15 minutes (one ear) or 30 minutes (both ears).
Weight Management
30 minutes for initial appointment, subsequent appointments are 15 minutes. The out of pocket gaps for Initial Weight Management appointments (after Medicare rebates) are shown in the table above. Follow up weight management appointments should be booked as Standard Appointments and will attract a standard consultation fee.
